The last day today of VBS went wonderfully! The team said that new, younger children were there and all of them were eager to learn. They did three clown skits, had lessons, games, singing and 'hang out' time. God truly blessed us with good weather today. Not too hot, not too cold. A great ending to our week of VBS.
Tomorrow we will be taking a tour of a castle and some ancient runes in the countryside. Mr. Eugen is leading our group tomorrow and it will be an awesome time! We have been looking forward to it all week!
We have been so thankful for your continuous prayer and dedication to our team. Even though Torie, Jordan, and Emily all got sick this week and it rained on us while touring the town Wednesday we have still had an AMAZING time!
Ciao!

More Pictures!
Debora House/ Shopping/ Stanciova
Yesterday we spent the morning at Debora House. Debora is a home for girls at risk. The girls there are so sweet and wonderful. We did a 'mini' VBS for them and it was so fun! None of us wanted to leave! The girls are so happy and joyful that they make everyone around them smile!
After Debora House we went shopping downtown! We had so much fun walking around the city and learning some history! We bought some souveniers and spent the afternoon with Gratziela and our new friends (aka our translators). We had a wonderful time laughing and enjoying spending time together. We are going to miss everyone here so very much!
Today we started our VBS in Stanciova! It was a challenging first day but God provided us with patience and flexibility. We ended the day with another dinner at the Bistra and got together on a new game plan for tomorrow! We can't wait for another day in Stanciova!
I'll be posting pictures soon!

VBS!
Today we finished our VBS in Ortisoara! It was amazing! We spent the first morning getting into classes and getting to know the kids. They were so ready to learn and experience everything we had planned! We had a "teacher teaching/craft/singing/Mr.Don teaching rotation." Laura Rose, Laura Casteel, Nicole, and Cindy were the teachers, Mr. Don did a lesson with all the the children, Emily and Torie taught songs (in English), and Jordan and Andrew taught games. We did that once in the morning and then again in the afternoon. After all of the rotations we would all gather for a carnival. We had games and gave out prizes! The kids absolutely loved them! The kids were so sweet and so loving! We ended the day today with presenting songs and having one last game! It was so awesome! The language barrier really was not a barrier! It was so awesome to connect with the children and love through the language barrier! More pictures to come tomorrow!
Good night!
